Masters and Adults Ski Training
Impulse is unique in offering specific training for masters and adult trainees with our experienced and qualified coaches. Whether it be at the Snowcentre, weekends at Landgraaf or our weekend and specific weeks on Snow, our older trainees have enjoyed some great training which has brought about significant improvements in their skiing.
What we offer
We have trainees who train with us to race but quite a few who train with us just to improve their skiing using the race training to build on their techniques.
For the 2017-18 season, we have teamed up with Pila specialists Pilaski to bring a package together for our adult performance trainees. Pilaski has been based in the resort for a number of years and works with numerous hotels, usually ski in/ski out to make your whole experience easier. The package covers transfers, half-board accommodation, lift passes and training.
A few comments from some of our Adult trainees:
All the Impulse coaches really know what they are talking about, and they put across the information very clearly. Although I felt slightly self-conscious at first, being an older skier and knowing that Phil has trained some top national skiers, I have always been made to feel welcome and treated the same as their faster and more illustrious trainees. I have found the combination of gates training and work on fundamentals highly beneficial. There is always an interesting variety to help push you into a more rounded skier and it seems like each week brings new ideas and challenges. – Masters Training
The improvements for me have been very evident. I went from trying to ski my first proper slalom gates to completing an indoor BASS slalom course in Landgraaf in a very short time. It has also been great fun and helped to set me new goals for the coming winter season.I think the team also offer excellent value. Because group sizes are generally small the sessions are more like private lessons. When you compare the cost to similar training in a ski resort it represents a great way to improve your skiing, especially outside the winter season.
