Insurance

Insurance and Medical

Insurance that covers each child for RACING, RACE TRAINING and THIRD PARTY LIABILITY is COMPULSORY, and is required by law.
Most ordinary skiing holiday insurance policies do not cover racing and race training.  Therefore we have listed the following companies who can (amongst others) be contacted to arrange this specialist insurance required.

There are lots of options.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR CHILD HAS A COPY OF THEIR INSURANCE COVER NOTE WITH THEM ON EACH TRAINING CAMP.

Accident and illness

In the event of an accident or illness, the Impulse Racing Manager will usually be asked to pay for first aid, ambulance, medical and chemist’s invoices on the spot.  Parents will be sent a Impulse Racing invoice at the conclusion of the training camp, listing the expenses incurred together with any documents they may need to make an insurance claim.  These invoices will be payable by return please.

For training camps within the European Community please ensure that each trainee has an up to date European Health Insurance Card (available from the Post Office).  In Switzerland, hospitals will occasionally send bills directly to the insurance company.

Cancellation Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out CANCELLATION INSURANCE to cover cancellation prior to departure or during the camp including cancellation because of lack of snow or other adverse weather conditions.  K Racing cannot normally make refunds if trainees either cancel or are forced to leave early for whatever reason.
